Thanks, all. Yes, I painted the tubes black just to make sure. I started to buff my acrylic pens and have found that it just seems to give them a silky feel.

Well done John. I use those blanks also and just love them. They look great on just about everything. I also buff all my pens and think it's so much better than wet sanding with MMS. Gotta make yourself an Ed Brown buffing stick (keeps em from flying around the shop).
