I love the fine craftsmanship and high design of Delta pens, especially the orange and black combos; and recently I've come to appreciate the classic lines of the immortal Parker Duofolds. After completing the Big Red and Cream and Coffee Fudge Duofold clones, I started thinking about making this style a staple of my line. So my next offering is a take on the Dolcevita.

This imported orange material called "Oro" has fire and depth like few other acrylics. It's pricey but definitely worth it. Again I've a chosen the polished steel MIG Meisternib. The clip is rhodium plated.

An amazing pen. The pride in craftsmanship really comes out! There are aspects to it that I like more than what you are attempting to emulate. I like your cap and the matching end highlights much better than the Delta Dolcevita - much more streamlined and doesn't have that wide band. Now, while my skills are not up to this level of penmaking yet, I'm not a fan of the large collared section. It pulls my attention away from the rest of the pen.

Fantastic work. A very proud piece.

Holy cow Robert!! I have to side with martin on the flair, MHO, a straight cap would be cool. Pick guard is an excellent accent!! Your inserts in the camp and post are great!! Amazing care went into this piece of art!

You really produce a nice pen, I like the flared top it gives it a visual design detail that keeps it fresh.

Great idea to make this design a staple. Classy design elements and great choice of material. The pickguard and the silver ring make nice highlights, and the posting threads are very unobtrusive.

Love the flare at the top and the extra materials in the top and bottom. NPGJ!

Fantastic pen. I saw the original delta quite a few years ago and I always wanted to make one like it. You just pushed me one step closer to dive into kit less pen making.
My regards to your fine craftsmanship, this truly is a great looking pen.

Another extraordinary piece! Great proportions and use of pickguard. I like the silve band in the middle to define the break between cap and body. The pattern should lend itself to colors other than orange, allowing for a whole series of pens.
