I haven't posted for a while but I thought I would share some images of a large commission I was asked to do recently. There were 16 sets comprising of a black and a blue twister pens and a 3.2mm artists pencil. The sets had to match but each one had to be a different wood. They were presented in leather pen rolls with spare refills and some info about the timber used.

Nice work Phil! Big orders can be fun (if you tell yourself "I'm having fun")! I've done a few large orders and found it to be fun if I decided it was fun before I started! :biggrin: Love the different choice of woods and the info you gave. Great job!

Thanks for all the compliments.
Yes they were a lot of work but so was the reward and I'm told the recipients were very pleased with them because the sets were so different to the run of the mill MB meisterstüch sets that are often given at that level of corporate gift. I was very pleased with the results.

They were all finished with multiple coats of CA.

Those look great! Loads less metalwork on show than a normal kit, which is nice!
