Here is my latest creation. The purple in the ink well, turned very gray and I am not sure why. They were poured at the same time. I am pleased for my 1st one, and already have many design changes in mind.
Please let me know what you think good, bad or ugly.

Hi Dawn, Very nice work.

I did a pour a month or so ago with some nice purple, but it turned more brown since it was sittong on top of some orange. In some lighting it's still purple though.

How thin are the sides? My best guess is that the sides are thin enough that the color is being bled out by the light. Take a piece of thick white paper and curl it up and put it inside and see if that brings the color back, it still may be pale, but I'll bet it's more purple. You may just have to make the inside opaque if it works.
