...and managed to turn a pen. The pen turned out better.

Clip-less cream lucite with a subtle grain and an ebonite center band. Very light -- about 11 grams uncapped, 17 capped. Thanks for looking.

I think it looks awesome! Did you use the same material for the feed holder? Your work has been inspiring me to get off the comp and get my butt in the shop and make something! One thing that's throwing me off though is in your second picture. The background makes the pen look like it's capped off center. I like the props though!

An unfortunate combination of shine and shadow. The cap actually fits exactly flush with the barrel. Yes, the section is turned from the same material -- the thinner you turn it, the more the swirl/grain shows.
