Haven't built a pen in awhile. Retro style Fountain pen in Desert Ironwood Burl with CA finish.

Thanks guys..I offered up some of these at a way cheaper price than I normally see, but guess there wasn't any interest. The wood has fantastic dimension that I can't do justice with my camera. I'm not about to go stand out in the sun with my camera for a better picture...oh, there is no sun, just dark clouds of the impending doom of snow on the horizon, and nasty cold temperatures.

Excellent work Jeff. That is a beautiful piece of wood and you made an outstanding pen from it. I am a huge fan of the natural woods.
It always amazes me to see what Mother Nature has come up with.
You only get a hint of the depth from the picture, and it still looks great.

Very nice work.:)

I haven't been in my shop for 3 months, just been way too cold.

Beautiful pen. I have that exact kit, need to find something to put on it.

i can only dream to achieve such greatness

Retro is CSUSA. Try not to make the same mistake I did...I bought the bushings and drill bits not knowing that they are the same as the Jr Gent/statesman II
