Default Diamond Cast Dip Pen

A friend commissioned a dip pen for a gift, so I got to make my first acrylic dip pen. I used one of Tim McKenzie's Diamond Cast blanks, I believe it is Smoke on the Water.

Thanks for looking!

Ah, cool. It didn't have a label so I wasn't sure.
Thanks for the compliment!

Nice job, I like the profile, looks like it would fit very well.

I've never seen a dip pen before. Looks like a cross between a fountain pen and a Harry Potter wand. Pretty blank, nicely turned!

Basically, Steve. :) and thank you.
They're used for calligraphy. You can change the nib out for ones with different width or flexibility.
