Had a nurse contact me looking for a pen and scissor set for work. Said her pens always go missing at work and she wanted something that was unique enough that she could easily recognize it at hers.

So I made a detachable lanyard pen for her. Basic Koa wood instead of the normal curly Koa I use, but it still color shifts on the grain in on two "sides".

As soon as I get some nice scissors ordered for her I'll get them engraved with her name and get the set out to her.

You know, I'm sure you get tired of the same old Koa. I'd be willing to send you a bunch of hickory or pine for an equal amount of Koa. What the heck, to show you my hearts in the right place you can even send that 2nd class Koa. What's it called? Ummm . . . curly koa I think.

But seriously, that's a beautiful pen. Your finishes and photos are top notch.

I've been organizing and taking pictures of current stock of wood today and getting some pictures for the Facebook page.

Here's where most of the Koa has found a home, I still have some that I need to cut into blanks. The long, light colored stuff on the right is Mammoth Kauri.

Tell you what, let's do it - I have to go to the Post Office tomorrow anyway.

PM me your address and I'll send a SFRB to you. You'll of course be obligated to empty it, refill it, and send it back.

Great Pen Jason.
Love the "Straight Koa", that about all we ever see down here.
The Lanyard Pen should overcome her continuing losses.
Terrific Fit and Finish.
That darn "Fur" is growing everywhere now.
Congratulations,
Brian.
