C-E,Baron in clear& Blue PR. The base is sanded and polished inside and aut so that the nib of the fountain pen can be seen.

Really neat job.

Did you drill the hole in the "cap" or cast it that way?

Either way, HOW did you get the hole so clear??? Polishing had to be a trick, unless you did it chemically???

Ed,

I drilled the hole in the cap. I then got the hole clear by sanding &
polishing with Tripoli, White Diamond, Renaissance Wax. The only trick is to wrap sand paper and cotton ball for buffing in a dowel.

Been there, done that! But NEVER that WELL!!!
