Tough plastic to work with on this one. Even drilling, the shavings came out like powder instead of streamers of plastic. Turning was strange too. Lots of little shards like broken candy or glass. Not a lot of "streamers" of plastic coming off the blank. Very strange. Came out OK though.

That looks like the fire feather acrylester blanks from PSI. It was the first acrylester blank I ever turned and exploded two of them while drilling. Once I slowed down things moved along better. This one looks great. Nice job. Whacha think about that depth? awesome.

Actually I said it wrong. It's the Mica Pearl Fire Feathers blank I was referring to. Turns the same as the Acrylester.
