very attractive Eric!! How hard was that ironwood to work with?? My neighbor gave me a piece 1" x 6" x 6" ...(thereabouts) After feeling how heavy it was I just threw it in a "special wood" place [8D] was tempted to cut some blanks but my bandsaw wasn't feeling so nice that day, UGH!!

Ron,

sorry for the delay in responding.... The ironwood was no problem to work with.... very smooth cutting and I did a cross cut. The wood seems a little oily so with with solvent prior to finishing

Beautiful pen, I disagree with buzz, next time try doing a straighter barrel, look at the hand grip, where it transitions into the pen, it is straight and not curved, so i prefer mine to be turned straight.
