Gotta love Ironwood. Did you have any problems with cloudy patches on the finish? The first couple I did had small areas where the Ca was not quite as clear as the rest of the pen. I've since started wiping the blank down with a little accelerator sprayed on a paper towel before applying the CA and the clouds have gone away.

Hi Phil,
I wipe any blank with Acetone that I think might give me problems. Seems to have alleviated any problems with clouding.

Watch out, I do the same thing, but some Brazilian Ebony looked good for 3 or so months then looked at it and one side of the cap was cloudy, I've got a couple of DIW pens that are close to a year old and no problems, yours is really nice, I love turning Desert Ironwood, I like the shape on your pen.
