Good looking pen. I have a couple of denim pens in my album and all I did was mount the tubes on the mandrel with the bushings and slowly turn the lathe by hand and glue strips of denim as I went. I used thin CA to glue the strips and thick CA to fill voids, let it dry, and turned it like a plastic.

I made that blank myself. You can make it pretty thick if you work fast and keep the resin cool before mixing it. I left mine on the patio in TX heat and it started hardening in a few minutes once ! hehe OOPS
