Thought I would try my hand at a Delrin pen. I found it to be difficult because you cannot use glue for tubes. The glue won't hold. You can't polish it although you can buff it up at slow speeds. The pen tubes have to be compression fitted. I don't think I'd try another, but who knows? Let me know what you think, good or bad. Thanks

An intriguing challenge. I don't think the resulting pen is exceptionally desirable (any other whitish material would be as good), unless you think it has an especially nice feel or something. On the other hand, making it requires cleverness, problem-solving, and thinking outside the box that surely gives one broader pen-making experience. The making, rather than the pen itself, is the reward.

In short: bravo!

(The above is purely supposition. Having made the thing, you are in a position to confirm or deny my guess.)
