Dee's Aged Patina Blanks

Here are a couple of Aero pens I turned using Dee's (Pr Princess) aged patina blanks. I really like the look of these blanks. The PR is so clear on these. As usual, wet sanded, plastic polish and buffed.

Good eye!
Not a crack at all. It is just an illusion. The blank make up looks as if there is a gold leaf type product applied to the tube which leaves a crinkled surface which Dee must then apply a patina onto. As I don't know her secret process, that is the best I can describe it. The PR is amazingly clear and finished up beautifully.

Thanks for the catch. I messed that one up. I relied on memory....it doesn't always get it right. These are the Florentine blanks by Dee at The Classic Nib.
