Turned this one after I got home from this afternoon.I love turning antler.Never know what your going to find. Both sections came from the same piece of antler. The dark streak at the end is a blood vessel that ran through the antler section. This was by far the hardest piece of antler I have turned so far.It was almost like turning the Blue Lapis Tru-stone.Sanded to 600 the applied 10 coats of medium CA.MM to 12000 and hit it with Hut Plastic Polish.I think the antler compliments the copper pretty good.Still working on trying to get the pictures better.

That is nice. I have made a lot of deer and elk horn but have never dressed it in copper. I am going to have to try that.
