This is the first antler I have turned. I was surprised to see how easy it turned. One thin coat of ca is all I did. Pen from Smitty's. I am very pleased with this. Aaron

Looks great Aaron, nice job. I sometimes dont put a finish on mine, just go thru the MM pads and then Novus for polish.

I have made several of these pens and I always use antler on them. I also use one every day. Nice job on yours.

Fantastic pen, I wish we could deer antler to buy her in Oz Land. Unfortunately the customs would give us trouble trying to import it in from the US I think? Any Aussie's know if you could buy antler blanks here? Or have you tried to import from US?
