I finally got around to getting a decent DSLR Camera (Canon Rebel XT) and figured I needed to learn to use it. I am still learning and posted a request for help on the photography section.

Anyway, here are some old pens I made over a year ago and three that my wife "needed" me to make Christmas evening (until 10:30 PM!) for our three daughters.

David,

Yes, they were surprised. Seems as they get older (two are now married) they appreciate some of the turnings more than in years past. In fact, the daughter (Tiffany) that I walked down the aisle on November 25th, called from work last night to tell me, yet again, that she really loves her pen (the striped WS II), so it makes you feel pretty good[:I]

Thanks for all the kind and encouraging words... It is nice to finally break the ice and get some pens posted. Amazing how life can become so hectic that you never stop long enough to do some stuff for yourself, like taking and posting some photographs of your work[:)]

Now to figure out how to operate this camera....[?]

Really great looking, I really like the Red Celluloid with Chrome one, just a neat classy interesting texture IMHO.

Yeah, the Red Celluloid is one of my favorites. I got three of them from Bill at AS. They are only 1/2" to 5/8" square... so you have to drill REAL straight[:D] If you take your time and are patient, you will be rewarded with some really cool pen's.

I am holding on to the two remaining blanks to use with some of the pick-guard material I ordered. I'm thinking Black Titanium or Black Chrome will go nicely[8D]
