Finished it yesterday. It's a custom fountain pen in orange crush Italian resin called Oro...with a #6 Medium Point Gilded Bock nib. It's postable and it's my first try at an exposed clip! I should have made it to a 12 mm rather than the wider 14 mm size..looks a little too tapered. LOL..had fun anyway..Hope you like it. Doc

Another beauty, Doc! I like the taper. That material is gorgeous. I haven't tried that clip yet. After seeing yours, it may be time.

I like the pen, and I generally prefer an exposed clip whenever I think I can get away with it, but it really depends on the dimensions of the pen and, importantly, the material IMO.

I'd like to see this one with a polished nib and silver clip. I'm probably in the minority, but I think the contrast would be really nice
