Decided to have another day of "me time" again today! This is the result! I adore this colour. In hindsight, it may be a little transparent to do a flush cap, but I do like flush fitting caps.:) I'm really pleased with the way the finial came out.

I really like the cap finial. It's on my to-do list as well after looking at some Sailors with that sort of style. It's a little different, but similar.

Nice pen. Good job all around.

That's it....... I've got to make some of those two tone finials, really sharp looking!

I think I would have made the black part of the finial a bit taller, say 6.4mm, but that's just my taste.

Robert, it's an Acrylic from The Turners Workshop here in the UK.

George, I agree with the taller finial. I was really conscious of the length of the cap, and was sorely tempted to take some off the cap to make a taller finial, but knew in the back of my mind that I would probably screw it up!!! On the next one!
