Dads Birthday Gift

This is a segmented Snakewood and Wenge wood Pen.
My plans are to make an Australian Brown Mallee Pen Stand for it.
As one of my Australian Mates showed me - I can make some areas on the burl cap to hold an antique Gold Club Head and a section to hold a coin to represent his birth year.
I am still working on the base and will post pictures once the whole piece has been completed.
Send you comments - If you see some things I could improve upon please let me know as I want this to be as perfect as possible for his 62 birthday.
