I have a loyal customer who requested two Amboyna Burl pens with Sapwood/Heartwood mix. The first is a Jr. Statesman made with longer tubes. The pen is about a 1/2" longer than the standard Jr. Statesman with the threaded end. The second pen is a Rhodium Clicker from laulauwood (Aaron). Both are finished with CA/BLO. Thanks for looking.

Both look very nice.
What was the reason for the longer tubes on the Jr Statesman?
Were both tubes longer or just one?

The customor liked the diameter of the Jr. Statesman but felt it was too short when writing (he doesn't like the postable type because it doesn't feel balanced to him when writing) The full size Statesman was too big so it wasn't an option. This pen is about 1/2" longer than the Jr. and 1/2" shorter than the full size while keeping the diameter the same as the Jr. The customer is happy, so now I'm happy. He just placed an order for six more.
