So this is the twin (no not exact twin

) to the purple celluloid pen I just finished the other day. I used 4 blanks to get to this one piece. I blew out one barrel and one cap due to the nature of the material. I asked for a material to replicate the old Waterman Patrician turquoise color - and they delivered! I LOVE the way this looks! I wish it were a bit easier to work with though. THe barrel took FOREVER. I would cut a bit, soak it with super glue (CA), cut a bit, soak, cut a bit, soak. It took HOURS to make, rather than ONE hour. But it looks so good, and with all the super glue in those tiny spaces between the brown and blue, it's as good as any other PR I've turned. Hopefully this one will find a happy home. :)
It does not post like it's sister, though. I had to leave the back end a bit thicker to keep things strong.
Any questions or comments please holler.

I haven't been inking my pens up for the most part, just tuning nibs (and I have one pen set aside for that) but I just HAD to ink this one up. The material is SOOO pretty.

Filled with Diamine Lavender.
