Just finished this custom pen. I held off on adding a clip on this one; kinda like the way it looks now. My first time turning one with this "torpedo" design. I find the #6 nibs to be easier to make sections than the smaller #5.

Overall length (capped): 5 5/8"
Cap Diameter: 9/16"
Cap Length: 2 1/2"
Body Diameter: 1/2"
Nib: Meisternib #6 polished
Overall Weight w/ converter: 20 grams
Material: Cranberry Colored Acrylic

As always comments and suggestions are welcome and appreciated. Thanks for looking.

I love the shape and the way the cap fits so smoothly over the barrel. This is one that certainly doesn't need a clip!

Very slick! I like the torpedo shape a lot.
It looks like there is a lot of support for the piston converter. I like that as well.
Thanks for showing it. Very inspiring for those of us just getting started with the kitless work.

That's a really pretty blank. It looks like it is threaded on the cap for a clip. Or am I seeing that wrong?

You're seeing right, Bob. I had started the pen with the thought of using a clip, but decided against it later. I could always add one later, but right now I like how it looks without it. I guess I'm still undecided...
