Custom Java

Finished it this A.M. It's a custom fountain pen that incorporated one of Jeff Powell's "Golden Cup of Java" scrolled sawed blanks from Exotics. The aroma in my shop was really nice this A.M. as I turned it round to fit in my collet chuck. The blank contains real ground coffee. The pen has has a #6 medium point gilded Bock nib. This was sort of a test run...I'm making another one with a black finial and centerband to frame the cup of java along with a gold clip.. I'm leaving this one in an IAP cup near the coffee machine for my doodling in the A.M. Anyway.. Had fun making it. Hope you like it. Doc

As a daily coffee drinker, I like it! Just looking at it keeps me awake. The two-tone FP you have been posting lately look great. Can't wait to see the others.

I like the idea and two-tone design, but I'm not feeling the particular swirl pattern in the cap -- but that was out of your control. Looking forward to the next one!
