Here's my 10th custom pen, in a beautiful dark brown PR made by Lyle at Invisible Blanks. He created exactly what I tried to describe. Thanks, Lyle!

I'm thinking of making more in the same vein as this, so any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Jeekers crow you're doing good work.

And that brown is beautiful.

Very nice.

Thanks! That "Jeekers crow" is a phrase I've not heard before.

That is a sweet pen. How did threading the PR go?

It went just fine, except that the threads showed up white and I couldn't polish it out for anything. I'd seen the other threads on the same issue, but I was doing -- or thought I was doing -- all the right things. I was using plenty of lube -- but I had recently switched from Canola oil cooking spray to a thinner grilling spray because it was less messy. I ran the die over the threads again with Canola oil, and everything was ok.

Simple, plain and a touch of class.
Mossy

Thanks! I was aiming for something simple and unique.

Love it! That brown is killer and your finish is perfect. Nice thinking on chasing the threads again. I've done that and then used a toothbrush with some PlastX to keep'em shiny.
