I've been having a lot of fun at the lathe lately. This is the newest creation of mine. I'm really liking this clipless design. Now I just need to make some matching pen pillows to go with them. I do have to give a shout out to my buddy Tyson (Jyreene) for giving me this awesome nib. It only took me 6 months to put it to use, but I think I found the perfect home for it!

I was trying something new - let me know what you think! I know I didn't get it centered on my backdrop

Thanks for looking!

Excellent. How did you finish it? Looks flawless.

Thanks! To finish I use EEE paste wax on each grit of sandpaper. Start with 400 then 600, 800, & 1000. Then it's off to the buffer and use Tripoli and then White Diamond. Clean with a soft cloth and all done!

If you want a satin finish you can either exclude the buffer OR after buffing put it back on the lathe and apply EEE on a soft cloth by itself. It'll take the shine out.

Thanks again everyone! I was hoping to hang onto this one for a while (at least the MAPG) but a customer emailed me tonight with an offer I couldn't refuse. So this one will be heading up to its new home in NY very soon!
