Just messing around, I decided to try the M3 silver with this blue Italian resin. If I had it to do over--and I won't--I'd make a smaller ring at the bottom and move it up the barrel about 3/8".

It was going to have a clip, but then . . .

Anyway, comments, questions, and suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

Love this material! It seemed a little denser than most acrylics and resins that I had turned before...notice the same? Perhaps it was just me! Love the M3 additions!

Yeah, it does seem very different from other resins. I noticed it has no reflective material and no translucency (that a word???). I liked turning it though. And I was surprised how soft the M3 stuff is, almost like aluminite. By the way, I didn't use the metal polish that comes with the M3, just Hut plastic polish.

Robert, That is a beautiful pen. I think you using the M3 is a neat idea. Love the polished nib and accents with the blue resin. Regards, Doc:)
