Custom Churchill

Decided to try a custom cap. Need to paint the tubes black next time. Although the green wouldn't show up as well that way. I also shaved down the threaded cap piece that receives the nib so I could leave out the gold and black rings that usually go on it. The barrel chipped on both ends of the body, so I shaved them clean with the skew and did African Blackwood bands. All in all I like the way it turned out.

Looks cool! So, there is enough material to shave off the outside of the threads to push it in further......didn't think there was.

Cool looking Churchill, however, I like a clip on a pen but that is just a personal taste issue.
