Curly Spalted Mango El Toro

Hi All,

I recently got some curly spalted mango from AzS. It was a neat looking blank and I thought it might look okay on an El Toro

The wood turned great and I am happy with the finish it took. Aside from finding it impossible to stay out of the centre band with my reflection I like it a lot.

That is great looking wood. I sold a Churchill FP today made from gold dyed curly spalted Mango. It looks good on the El Toro and you did a great job as always, Jim.

Sharp looking pen with the nib exposed, sharp looking finish, sharp looking wood, escellent fit and finish! Great job. I been thinking of turning some of the El Toro's, but I thought they looked kinda funky when the pen is closed up, but I have never seen one close up and personal.
