Curly Pink Ivory Sierra

I wanted this to be a Baron, but the blank wasn't long enough. In milling the ends, the edge chipped, sooo, I cut the tube and blank to remove the chip and it worked. This pen took way longer than it should have for a simple pen, but the wood was too good to give up on. 3 coats thin CA, 4 coats medium, micro meshed to 12,000.

I like the variation from the heartwood to the sapwood. That blank does have some nice curl to it. Nicely done.
