Curly Maple El Grande

I managed to pick up a bunch of Ti gold and Platinum El Grande pens for less than I normally pay for slims a while ago when Berea had them on sale. After I get another dozen or so made to go with it this one will end up in the hands of one of our Canadian soldiers. (click Canadian flag at top of page for more info) I used an aniline dye dissolved in alcohol to dye the curly maple. Double closed end with "floating clip"

I think it was the dark red mahogany from Lee Valley
