Default curly maple cigar pen

Well, I think it is curly maple.
Ya see, I was at a wood turners auction this past summer and there was a slice of wood laying on a bench. I picked it up and asked Bill about it and he said he was waiting for someone to take it home. I'd like to find the rest of the tree because it has a wild grain pattern to it. I think he thought it was just a stray piece that was left behind when some trees were cleared.
Anyway, this turned out to be a great looking faux cigar pen.

Love the look of curly maple! I need to review the process of building a real "cigar" pen. Where did you get the label? There is a smoke shop not far from me.
