Curly Maple Burl Sierra

Today I was in the shop finishing up some Christmas presents and came across a box of blanks I had forgotten about. I had cut a maple burl at the family farm and sent a number of those blanks, along with some curly maple and cherry, to be stabilized. As I was not been introduced to pens at the time,I had cut them 1x1x4" to be used for reelseats. The have been on a shelf for almost 5 years.

I turned one today, and have included two pictures of the Sierra pen. I know I need to work on the photography, but aside form that I would appreciate comments and suggestions on the pen.
