This is a very interesting piece of koa brought to me from Hawaii by my niece, DiscDogs here on the forum. It's turned and finished with CA (no BLO) and mounted to titanium gold hardware with a modified center band.

Comments welcome - thanks for looking.

Congratulations Tony, that is one beautiful pen. The timber is outstanding and the fit and finish does the timber proud. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice job Tony. Pretty lines and beautiful wood. Are you going to enter it in the Modified Cigar Pen Contest?

Regards,
Eric

That's a kind question - I don't think it's up to some of the stuff I see in that thread. However, I am working on another similar pen with a bit of flair that I might enter.

Thanks, everyone, for the kind comments.

Very nice! I like how your modification allows the wood to be more of a focal point by not breaking up the lines with a center band. Good work!
