Curly Koa Emperor fountain pen

Made this Curly Kao Emperor fountain pen this week for a customer to take a look at. Blank was stabilized which I believe made it a little darker than I would have liked. Blank has ripple after ripple of curl that shows up when handling it.

Koa is Koa dark or light. It looks beautiful! Great job.

Koa can range from light golden brown to med tan brown to dark red brown. You can tell there is a lot of curl in that pen just by the amount of stripes on it. Its very hard to get a photo that shows the true effect of Koa.
