I thought this CSUSA Sketch Pencil came out fairly good. Not perfect, but better than a case of the flu. :)

  • Homemade polyresin blank : "Blue-Red Pearlescent sauce with Pasta" [the wife likes to name the color-combos ]
  • Micromeshed to 12,000 followed by swirl remover
  • (I think I need to test my paper towels to see if they are abrasive, next stop 3M polishing cloths)

Looks real good. Next time try Mico Fiber pads. They can be found in any auto store near the polishing material. I tried a number of clothes and found that these work best. Paper towels put back scratches into the material.

Good luck

Jeff,

Neat color, and interesting design.

Tell your wife to find LARGE labels so she can enter her names for the materials. (Kinda' long????) She COULD also shorten to BURP! sauce with pasta. Of course the BURP is Blue Under Red Pearlescent!!

Nice blank! Very unique and creative. And Ed deserves kuddos for taking the time to notice how to shorten the name and have it come out so amusing!
