Crepe Myrtle Husks

I did a casting of stabilized dried bloom husks from a crepe myrtle tree in my yard. I cast in PR which made for a challenging turn. The husks have layers that flake off pretty easily. I may try the next one in Alumilite. I thought about entering this in the casting contest. Probably would not have done that well in light of the outstanding entries I see there.
