Local home chefs have expressed an interest in my rice pens, so I've worked harder to saturate the grains of Arborio rice (with some long grain white rice for good measure) by using silk dyes driven in with vacuum prior to resin casting - see earlier how-to post here:

JP - enjoy your cubes. I have little bags of colorific cubes (some of which are packed with dyed rice) eagerly awaiting their starring roles in pens.
