The first is bloodwood with dyed veneers and has been added to my ever growing personal collection of pens (AKA rejects :)). I was trying to put my "Circles in a Forest" design on a single barrel pen. Apparently I overestimated how long the barrel is by a smidgen.

The second is my "Syzygy" design, well half of it. It is on a piece of dyed curly maple with dyed veneers.

Hans, you'll be pleased to know that I finally got around to ordering some bushings for this kit

Looking awesome as usual!

Love the Syzygy red pen, really fits with the single barrel!!

Also your photos are great, crisp and clear? Are they done in a tent?

Un:rolleyes::mad::biggrin::tongue:believable!!! Your ability to cut such smooth lines by hand still stuns me no matter how many times I see them. If I had such a steady hand then I would have been a brain surgeon!!!

Thanks for the kind words everyone :)

Phil, excuse the poor cell phone picture :frown: This is my photo setup. Nothing fancy. The covers over the floodlights diffuse the light the same way a photo tent does.
