A Couple of Wood Pens for a Change

I decided to turn a couple of wood pens this weekend. I had a nice Curly Koa and some Black Ash Burl. I finished them in thin CA, I wanted a glossy finish without entirely plasticizing the pens, so there grain to be seen and felt and I think I like that.

The first one is an Atrax FP in Black Ash Burl and the second is a Jr Gent in Curly Koa.

Those are two very nice pens! Definitely prefer wood pens over acrylic.
I absolutely love the Curly Koa, have yet to try some though.

Those are two of my favorite woods to turn. Curly Koa is so 3D when finished. And Black Ash Burl never disappoints. @ great pens Eric!! :good:

Well, the Koa pen was on Etsy for less than an hour and it's sold! I need to buy more Curly Koa!
