Couple this weekend - FT American RB's

Two pens made this weekend.

Both Series 2000 FT American Rollerballs from AS.

The Top one is Platinum in Black Corian (thanks Billd62!) and the lower one is Kelly Green Acrylic from WC in Titanium Gold.

Sorry for the so-so photos- I don't have photo tent yet... so I used the top of my daugher's dresser I primed this weekend. "No honey I'm not playing in the shop, I'm just waiting for the primer to dry so I can recoat..." :biggrin:

I just got a couple of these kits to try myself. I'm a little fed up with the cheap snap cap kits I have been using and these are a nice alternative, featuring a screw on connection, while still being affordable. These are the first decent photos I've seen of this type pen assembled. Thanks! I can't wait to turn one tomorrow. =0)

I like your pens, but I hate the kit, I make quite a few of them and they are my best selling mid priced pens, they are a great looking pen, but they have a habit of coming unscrewed in customers pockets, Not too bad with a rollerball, but I've quit making them in fountain pens.

Nice work. I did that exact same green blank with the black and gold kit, but mine had the spider web filigree.
