Here's the result of a little shop time today.

From top to bottom:
Chrome Vail rollerball in Merlin's Magic
Chrome Vail rollerball in Bronze Fire
Two tone hybrid cigar in Aspen Burl
Two tone hybrid cigar in Curly Red Oak

The top two blanks are from Exotics and all the kits are from BearToothWoods.

Comments and criticism welcomed!

Very nice looking pens.

I really want to try turning Merlins Magic. That is an awesome looking blank.

What did you use to get the shine on the instruments?

The acrylic pens get a wet sand with 600, then MM, and finally plastic polish.

The wooden pens get sanded to 400 then BLO/CA. MM and plastic polish follow that.

Ren wax on all blanks as the last step before assembly.
