a couple of todays work

I got to spend some time in the shop today
I had 1 mishap when a blank blew out, and another when my trim mill dug in and ruined a blank, but I guess those things happen.
Attached are a couple of pens I made today.
The first is a Chicago dressed in amboyna burl with some sap wood showing.
The next is a shop pencil whit a very surprising blank, the deeper I got into it the prettier it got.

Two very nice pens, well done. Done worry about blown out blanks or trimmers going bad. We have all had that happen.
