Finally got some time in the garage today and absolutely loved it. Here's the efforts for the day:
Chrome bolt action with my homebrew alumilite blank
Green tru stone Triton (first time turning Tru stone today and everything "turned out" great!)
Black tru stone razor

Even had some time to prep blanks for tomorrow. Today was a good day. Comments are always welcome.

Dave

Thanks

Thanks for the comments fellas. This was my first try at Tru stone. I was sweatin bullets on the green one (my first), because I had read some nightmare posts on here for tru stone. I just used a new carbide tip and took it a little slower on my cuts and sanding. I also took a file to the insides of my tubes to make the components a slip fit and epoxyed them in. Worked well for me with no issues at all. For those who are on the fence, definately give Tru stone a try. Thanks again.
