I must admit neither of these blanks were segmented by me. I received them from members of IAP in pen blank swaps. I'm posting the pens here to show those members that their segmenting did not go for naught. I am also hoping they will admit to the segmenting, it's a memory test to see whether they recall sending these blanks to me!

I did turn both of the pens though!

The top one is a Long Clicker in 2-tone bamboo, finished with 4 coats of Zinssers sanding sealer, followed by 6 coats of Minwax 4 hr. dry time poly.

The sender of this blank may not recall sending it to me since 3 or 4 years have past since I received it. I looked at it many times not knowing what to put it on. I can't vouch for the woods, but it looks to me like walnut, pauduk and yellow heart. It's a Perfect Fit pen with 4 coats of Zinssers sanding sealer followed by 5 - 6 coats of thin CA.

I like both of them, good job on the segmented pens. I have never tried CA over sanding sealer but will give it a try today.
