A couple of recent ones

G'Day Folks,

Heres a couple of recent ones.

The first one is a blank I made myself trying to mimic the red and gold of the urushi lacquer, put on a Tycoon kit.

The second is made from Wenge, a lovely wood but very dry and dusty, on a gun metal Sedona.

Well done, esp the Wenge. It's a wood I find difficult to finish - very open grain so it needs to be cleaned and filled before applying the finish coats. You did well!
