I haven't been turning for a few weeks. Overload of unsold pens met a lot of other issues that had me out of the mood to turn anything. The top one is a bad reverse paint, the paint went on well, but it hated the CA during the glue-up. Live and learn. On to yet another variety of paint. The bottom one came out a bit better, and it sat mostly finished on the mandrel for quite a while. Just didn't feel like finishing it.

Alan,

Both look good in the photos. You might give epoxy a run to avoid the paint interaction. Tis not as quick, but is high on the reliabilty scale.

That green would be spectacular on a long one piece cigar.

I still gotta try out the one piece cigar when I get the extra bits and pieces for it.
