Hello all;
The other day, awood6971, posted a couple of shots he made from a blank he had poured. He didn't think the blank would amount to much but he turned it anyway.
There was a hidden masterpiece under the outside skin. He posted a shot of it. I, kind of tongue-in-cheek wrote that if he had other blanks he wasn't sure of, he could send them to me. So he did!
I got the blanks Saturday, and commenced turning a couple of them Unfortunately the blue and orange one ran into something very hard and a big piece was chipped out of the upper end. To make the long story short, I decided to finish the pen, albeit about 3/8" shorter than what was called for.
At any rate, here is a shot of that pen and of another one. Theo other one was a dismal shade of green and blue...on the outside. However once it was turned, it looked beautiful!
My photography sucks, but here is what I ended up with.

Green and blue:
Hope thes show up.
Thanks for looking,
