Got tired of throwing away segmented, scalloped failures so went to something else. I used parts from the Cambridge/Churchill, El Grande series for the closed end job. I don't really like the lines because in my opinion those pens are too fat. Next time I'll try a medium size pen.
The slim pen is a Presidential from CSUSA. I haven't really looked at ballpoints for a long time, and like I said, I needed a change. So for this one I concentrated on getting the shape just right--the tapers at the ends. I think this Ebonite is cool, but I don't think I like it in gold as well as I would rhodium--it's just the Presidential only comes in gold. The clip is different--spring-loaded.
